استكمالاً لقضية تحركات الأندية الجماهيرية لإلغاء عدد من الألعاب المختلفة لديها، التي سبق أن انفردت «عكاظ» بنشر تفاصيل بدايتها برغبة النادي الأهلي في إلغاء ألعابه كافة، والاكتفاء بنشاط كرة القدم في النادي، ومن ثم انفراد «عكاظ» بتحرك عدد من الاتحادات لثني الأهلاويين عن قرارهم، وأبرز تلك التحركات اجتماع اتحاد كرة السلة مع مسؤولي الأهلي، الذي لم يخرج بأي نتائج تعيد الأهلاويين عن قرارهم.
وواصلت «عكاظ» فتح هذا الملف، حيث أفادت المصادر بلحاق نادي النصر بالأهلي إلى فكرة إلغاء ألعابه، إذ كشفت مصادر «عكاظ» تلقي الإدارات المعنية داخل نادي النصر تعميماً إدارياً عبر البريد الإلكتروني من مجلس إدارة شركة النادي يفيد بإلغاء نشاط لعبتي كرة السلة وكرة الطائرة داخل نادي النصر بسبب التكاليف المالية العالية.
وأوضحت المصادر أن هنالك محاولات جادة من قبل المسؤولين في اللعبتين لإلغاء القرار عبر التواصل مع إدارة مجلس الشركة، خصوصاً أن الميزانية المعتمدة للعبتين ليست كبيرة مع وجود مصادر دخل أخرى يتم جلبها من قبل مسؤولي اللعبتين من الخارج سواء من محبي النادي أو رعايات خاصة، ويشرف على كرة السلة منذ عدة سنوات بندر الرشود عضو مجلس إدارة المؤسسة غير الربحية في النصر، بينما يشرف على كرة الطائرة الكابتن ناصر القحطاني اللاعب السابق في طائرة النصر.
ويُعد هذا القرار خسارة كبيرة لجماهير النصر، خصوصاً أن فريق كرة السلة يملك تاريخاً حافلاً بالإنجازات المحلية، منها:
بطل الدوري السعودي الممتاز لكرة السلة لعدة مرات، وبطل كأس الأمير فيصل بن فهد، وبطل كأس السوبر السعودي، إضافة إلى مشاركات مميزة في البطولات العربية والآسيوية.
أما فريق الطائرة فله حضوره وتاريخه في البطولات المحلية، وساهم في رفد المنتخبات الوطنية بعدد من اللاعبين، وكان آخر إنجازاتهم تحقيق بطولة المملكة للأشبال هذا الموسم.
وبذلك يطوي النصر صفحة لعبتين ساهمتا في تاريخه الرياضي، وسط تساؤلات جماهيرية عن مصير اللاعبين والملفات الإدارية.

Sources clarified that there are serious attempts by the officials in both sports to overturn the decision by communicating with the company’s board management, especially since the approved budget for the two sports is not large, with other sources of income being generated by the officials of the two sports from abroad, whether from fans of the club or private sponsorships. Bandar Al-Rashoud, a member of the non-profit foundation’s board at Al-Nasr, has been overseeing basketball for several years, while former Al-Nasr volleyball player Captain Nasser Al-Qahtani oversees volleyball.
This decision represents a significant loss for Al-Nasr fans, especially since the basketball team has a rich history of local achievements, including:
Champion of the Saudi Premier Basketball League multiple times, champion of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, and champion of the Saudi Super Cup, in addition to distinguished participations in Arab and Asian championships.
As for the volleyball team, it has a presence and history in local championships and has contributed to supplying the national teams with several players, with their latest achievement being the championship of the Kingdom for the youth this season.
Thus, Al-Nasr closes the chapter on two sports that have contributed to its athletic history, amidst fans’ questions about the fate of the players and administrative files.
